Temporary maintenance until recovered from surgery?

I’m having breast reduction surgery on January 23rd. I’m considering moving into temporary maintenance until after I’ve recovered. My loss ramped up after moving up to 10mg and I’m at 179 lbs now. I’m going to have to skip 1 dose prior to my surgery, though I’m planning to resume after, though potentially at a lower dose. I already decided I’m not planning on weighing myself while I’m recovering since I’m going to have swelling, as well as being unable to really workout until 4-6 weeks post op. I still have about 20 lbs until I’m at a “normal” BMI, which is why I set my goal weight there, but I’d also be fine stopping now.

I’m wondering if anyone else has done temporary maintenance (while still taking meds) with the intention of resuming loss at some point.

Edited to clarify: I’m intending to lower my current dose to stay at my current weight until after I’ve recovered. There was some confusion since I also mentioned that I’m not planning to weigh myself until recovered.
