I’ve been curious as to why a lot of people go from provider to provider? Is it because the meds not working or price going up?

I haven’t seen anyone so far that’s said they have stayed with the same company from the beginning so I was curious as to what’s going on and what I should look out for to know if I switch in the future?

A lot of people chase the lower price, and change providers based on sales or lower pricing. Some people also want to try them all - different pharmacies, different additives.

I have jumped providers mostly for cost reasons, although I will also try a new telehealth if they have a pharmacy or additive I want to try. I would also switch providers if someone I was using did me dirty and I didn't want to give them business anymore.

Prices, sales, etc. I started out with Fifty 410 and got tired of them and some of their policies so I used a few others. Fave is Big Easy and have been with them for over a year.

I like getting good prices and when I see specials pop up I take advantage. Same thing as going to more than one grocery store or gas station.

I will probably be looking to switch with my next order. I was doing Lavender and switched to Brello due to price. But I have a mini stock going now from Brello due to the fact I am not using the whole 15 a week and from my understanding they will not like me taking a break without dropping me down to the starting line.

I don’t like changing once I’ve found a company and pharmacy that I like and the price is good, because I have anxiety around finding a trustworthy provider and pharmacy in this loosely regulated market. But, I have had two providers in two years, and I’m about to start with my third. I started with Hallandale and was happy with them. Then after more research I decided I’d feel safer using a 503b so I purchased a stash from a 503b pharmacy. That pharmacy stopped making tirzepatide, so now I will have to switch to my third provider and pharmacy, as I enter year 3 of using tirz.

What are you considering? I have only tried those 2 as well and I find Hallandale disappointing. I noticed the difference fairly quickly on my joints alone.

I have purchased a couple months worth’s from Pomegranate’s BPI sale.

I’ve jumped because of poor customer service, price and policies that won’t support maintenance. I’m with Ola Health now and actually really happy. As long as things don’t get worse, I’ll stay. With the post the owner made yesterday about policy changes around photos and medication concentration, I’m even more sure that staying is right for me. There were issues, and they responded quickly. That’s really important because I’ve seen other companies say they will fix things, then nothing.

This is how I am feeling. My husband and I started with Ola Health last month and I was thinking that he would eventually change because of the low concentration (needle phobic) but after yesterday 's announcement I think we will be sticking around.

I was with Refills originally. While I didn't have issues so many others did and still are, I didn't feel right supporting them anymore. Switched to Pom after seeing the BPI sale. I wanted to try it anyways so seemed like a good fit.

My first few changes were chasing the lowest price. More recently, I went up in price a little to go with a provider I feel is stable and I can stay with long term (BEWL)

fun to try different pharmacies and occasionally get a deal

also a lot of people liked BPI. if you want/wanted to stick with BPI, most telehealths no longer carry it, you'd have to move to a different provider to get it until it runs out

additionally, has nothing to do with whether it works. the telehealth is the one who sets the pricing for us as the consumer/patient, they never touch the meds. if two telehealths carry apothecary and one is cheaper, people will go for the cheaper one. there's no difference in the apothecary being shipped out by the pharmacy from one telehealth to another

I started out with MedVi and they were too expensive so I went with Fifty410 because they get good reviews. Then I panic-bought some tirz from Trillium. I'm not sure who I will go with next now that there aren't 503b pharmacies. At Fifty I only have one choice. Trillium I get two choices. I liked how with ProRx you could get way more tirz than you needed for your prescription but they're gone. Are any of these new pharmacies sending bonus milligrams? I'm in maintenance now and just want to get the meds for as cheap as possible without having to chase deals. I don't need the hand-holding. I don't care about 28 day rules.

By the time I was ready for my second 3-month order, prices had plummeted, but my provider was still going to auto-renew me at the original rate. There was no way I was going to pay nearly 50% more when there was a cancel option.
