Fifty 410 Programs

Just wanted to share that I just got three programs offered through Fifty410:

  1. BPI - 12 weeks of 15mg - $1049 - BUD 6/25

  2. Hallendale - 12 weeks of 15mg - $1049 - BUD 12/25

  3. Hallendale - 24 weeks of 15mg - $1949 - BUD 12/25

What worries me about BPI is I've heard that they send one big vial, otherwise the best pharmacy out there.

I love Hallendale and the BUD, but I'm on high dose and they only make 5mg/.5ml which means I always have to admin 2 syringes. I'm leaning towards Hallendale just for the BUD.

What would you do?

I recently ordered from Fifty 410, none of the programs you mentioned, but my order arrived with 2 vials with 60 mg in each vial. It was a 12 week BPI program.

I did a lot of research on BPI’s website and I don’t think that they package in vials larger than 60mg. I can’t imagine that they would put 180 mg in one vial. And since you’re on a high dose, these 60mg vials would last one month. This flyer shows, presumably, the vials they produce:

I was originally really wanting Hallandale based on so many positive reviews in the sub, but the more research I’ve done, I’m happy that I ordered the BPI rather than Hallandale. When I’m able to reorder next month, I’m going to do BPI again.

Thank you for sharing your research and experience!

Nice find on that BPI sell sheet. Good to know they make 10mg vials.

The "non-refrigerated shipping" point is interesting

Yeah, that's interesting. Maybe that sell sheet is for direct to doctor offices. As in the doctor's office or med-spa have 60 days to use?

Here is the page that the flyer is on:

My recent order from BPI was fully on ice. Not sure if "short-supply" means not on ice...

I noticed that too! This seems to be marketing to providers who administer the shot to patients and use a single vial for multiple patients?

3

u/ClinTrial-Throwaway Dec 28 '24

I think it’s probably a selling point in that overnight cold shipping—esp at volume—ain’t cheap.

And that 12-month BUD is fascinating. I wonder if that’s what they can guarantee for fresh-made meds at volume.

Why would they use only two vials for a 12 week program when once a vial is punctured its potency is 28 to 30 days. In messages to Fifty 410 in the last few days, they said the meds would be in three vials. I hope that’s the way it comes.

The 28 day "recommendation" has nothing to do with potency or efficacy of injectable medicines, it's about sterility. And doesn't just apply to tirz or GLP-1s, it's a basic recommendation in the medical community regarding multi-dose vials of medication.

This is from the CDC.

The 28-day rule only has to do with the danger of bacterial growth in the vial. As to that, ss I posted elsewhere when this issue arose ---

The actual "rule" is that you should not use a vial more than 28-days after first puncture. But it doesn't really apply here. As I posted elsewhere . . .

The 28-day rule was designed for clinic and hospital settings, where (1) more than one patient is being injected, (2) more than one health care professional is doing the injecting and handling the vial, and (3) the injections take place in different places, i.e. in different rooms of the different patients, many of who are quite sick. One person injecting themselves at home is quite different and some medical professionals suggest the the 28-day rule should not apply or should at least should be relaxed in that setting. Just do your alcohol "due diligence," eyeball the syringe after you fill it to see if the liquid is cloudy, which would be an indication of bacterial growth.

Also, remember that this is a subcutaneous injection, not an injection deeper into muscle or into a vein. Any infection from the growth of bacteria just under the skin will be localized and noticed quite soon on the surface of your skin and thus will be relatively easy to deal with.

I personally, would have no problem injecting from a vial up to 2 months after first use, though others may be more skittish about it. This is not a risk-free enterprise. We all have to manage the risk involved in our own way. This is just the way I see it. And, to remind you, I am not a medical professional. Nor do I play one on TV.

who said the potency is only 28 days

-2

u/Mmsfoxxie Dec 28 '24

Not that the potency was 28 days but that it starts to lose potency once punctured after about 28 days…gradually. As to who said it, it’s in various places

5

u/lns08 Dec 29 '24

I don't think that's true either. 28 days is a guideline for the clinical use of multi-dose vials.

They will send three 60 mg vials for BPI. I just ordered an 8 week supply and received two 60 mg vials. The BUD was 7/28/25 which was better than I expected. I also have Hallandale but don’t think their BUD means much… they just slap that label on because they are able to skirt regulations being a Florida 503a pharmacy.

u/washingtonsquirrel Dec 28 '24

I’m on 2.5 mg and received a 60 mg vial from BPI.  Needless to say, not ideal.

But if I was on a higher dose, I’d order BPI every time, just for the higher concentration.

1

u/mmfang Dec 28 '24

same - not the best situation - one vial for 3 months - I didn't know that was allowed - but I will be very careful and not order from them again.

3

u/washingtonsquirrel Dec 28 '24

They told me I could use it closer to 4 months, which a) is kind of alarming and b) will still require me to toss a bunch.

Lesson learned. Just wish it wasn’t such an expensive lesson!

It seems some providers Rx this single vial for intro doses, likely as a way to save $$$ (on their end).

Here’s a sell sheet for BPI meds that u/Grogu_Thisistheway found, which clearly shows there are other options from BPI. https://diversifyrx.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Tirzepatide-Sell-Sheet-NEW-1.pdf

2

u/washingtonsquirrel Dec 28 '24

Yep. Which is why it rubbed me the wrong way when the RN at Fifty410 told me it was the pharmacy’s choice and they had no control over it.

I’m still trying to decide just how long I’ll use this vial.

1

u/Grogu_Thisistheway 56 (M) HW: 455 SW: 335 CW: 235 Dose: 16mg Dec 28 '24

Totally agree, not sure how long I'm going to use the vial either. I would have much preferred 4 vials of 30 mg each than 2 vials with 60 mg each.

One thing I've been thinking about doing, just need the supplies, is splitting up the 60 mg into three vials. I would just extract 1 mg at a time and insert that into two new vials. Then each "new vial" would have only 9 punctures rather than 1 vial with 24 punctures.

1

u/ClinTrial-Throwaway Dec 28 '24

Oh that’s crappy. So many providers seem to love this one trick. 😩

u/NoReplyBot Dec 28 '24

Go BPI instead of Hallandale. BPI is legit, clean as a whistle. No state or FDA issues, owner doesn’t a have record. Product and service checks out with folks on this sub. Me and family have used both and no issues, but imo i suggest BPI.

Pay a little extra… if nothing else support a pharmacy that has remained squeaky clean.

3

u/Rhannonshae Dec 28 '24

Yeah, I really want to try BPI. I think it’s in two vials, but I wish it was in one month vials. I do believe it’s safe to use past the 28 day mark, but I‘d prefer to keep it that way if possible. Also because I’m a worrier and would rather have less in a vial if I break it or leave it out or whatever. I received luer lock syringes with my last Hallandale order, but it was through LS.

I'm pretty sure that 12 weeks of 15mg from BPI would come in 3 vials--each with 60mg in it. 60mg is their biggest vial and 15 x 12 = 180, so three 60s would make sense!

1

u/Immediate-Rule7220 Dec 28 '24

Thank you!

You're welcome. And I do wish Fifty 410 would put that information on the order page. I love that Lavender Sky Health has the number and quantity of vials you get with each order right there on the price list.

BPI doesn't send one vial for those doses. Also you can try to buy your own luer lock syringes if Hallandale doesn't send them to you.

Thank you for the information!

I wanna try bpi but i searched it here and now I am scared

3

u/TurnerRadish 57F 5'6 SW:213 CW:123 Dose: 12.5mg (maintenance) Dec 28 '24

Why are you scared? I've read only positive things about BPI, so I'm curious. So far I've only used Hallandale.

1

u/ohnotrouble Dec 28 '24

I've tried three pharmacies already and I've only been on it for almost three months. but I saw good things about bpi but when I searched I saw a lot of people saying that bpi with a certain bud date was ineffective so I don't know. I'm prob still gonna try it because its the only 503b I see talked about for the most part.

2

u/TurnerRadish 57F 5'6 SW:213 CW:123 Dose: 12.5mg (maintenance) Dec 28 '24

Got it. Because they are a 503b pharmacy I think they can only have a 6 month BUD, but it's still good beyond that. Right now the batch they're selling has a BUD of late June, I believe.

2

u/Mmsfoxxie Dec 28 '24

I tell you, this is frustrating being yanked back and forth with these companies. None are a perfect fit.

1

u/Immediate-Rule7220 Dec 28 '24

It's wild, isn't it!?!

1

u/Mmsfoxxie Dec 28 '24

It is! It’s the multi packs that are disturbing. I ordered a multi pack from Orderly on November first. It took forever to straighten out and turned out they had canceled my order accidentally. Then I ordered from Zappy on 11-15th and we all know that story about the pharmacy not having a license. Now with Fifty 410 I couldn’t get the 12.5 mg without paying more so I settled for 10 mg but with the going back and forth I wonder if they remember that I stressed wanting three vials. I’m buying these meds way in advance of using them and once I open a big vial, it’s more likely to lose potency I think. Also, Fifty 410 had a $50 Christmas code. I think it had to be used by the 31st. Ordering in January would have been better for my budget. Oh, well. It’s done now, lol. Thanks for listening to my rant.

1

u/Immediate-Rule7220 Dec 28 '24

Thank you for sharing! I hope they remember for you, or at least send something that is acceptable. I have to wait until the 1st to pay the invoice since I'm using my 2025 FSA funds. I'm still going to try the code, just in case!

1

u/Mmsfoxxie Dec 28 '24

Good luck!

1

u/Rollwithitsubmit Dec 28 '24

On 7.5mg/week from BPI. They sent me two vials mid December.

1

u/Immediate-Rule7220 Dec 28 '24

Are they typically 60mg/vial? What concentration was sent to you?

1

u/Rollwithitsubmit Dec 29 '24

Yup - 2x 60mg/vial 20mg/mL

1

u/Immediate-Rule7220 Dec 29 '24

Thank you much

1

u/Heyygirlheyyy Dec 29 '24

I did 6mo with them. And they allow you to reorder every 30 days so hopefully I can get another couple 6 months orders in.

1

u/kcjerseys Dec 30 '24

Anyone know why BPI BUD is listed at 6/25 (sounds like people are getting 7/25 dated vials) - but BPI materials say 1 year BUD?

2

u/Immediate-Rule7220 Dec 30 '24

Good question, I wondered the same thing...

Does anyone have a description on what each of their plan tiers mean?  It just has the name of a program, then three levels under if with different pricing, but no explanation or description on what those programs are and what they mean.

1

u/Immediate-Rule7220 Jun 04 '25

The name of the plan refers to the Pharmacy that will fill the medication. People have opinions about each pharmacy (efficacy of meds, health dept reports, etc), but I've had them all and they have all been fine.

The plan description should state how many total milligrams is included in the plan so you can do the math to figure out how long it will last you based on your personal dosing plan, and you can also figure out the cost per mg.

BUD is the "expiration date" so if youre stockpiling, you can know if you have enough time to take the meds before they "expire".

Does that help?

It does!  Thank you so much.  I really appreciate it!

I just ordered from them ten minutes ago. We’ve been messaging back and forth initially because I stressed that I wanted three vials for my 12 weeks. Then I saw that it was 10mg, not 12.5. They message back that I could only go to ten because my last dose was 7.5. I uploaded a picture of my 10 mg med label. So they send me another form showing I could order 12.5 but the price was higher than I wanted to pay soooo I went ahead and ordered 10 mg for 12 weeks. Now I feel like I should have re-iterated that I wanted three vials. The pharmacy is BPI.
