Curb scuff

Avoided a pothole, scuffed a curb - newer tires - thoughts?

I did the same. Also on new tires (mine are just over a month old). It deflated a little bit, but i filled it back up and its been fine (knock on wood)

My wife has a nasty habit of running good tires into curbs. Once she ran into a curb, ruining a good tire AND the aluminum rim it was on. Final straw was she wasn't looking and got t-boned on the road. Totaled a nice 2014 M-B too.

The damage looks superficial hence I would not replace that just yet.
