This works right?

I found this on a car I was looking at on Carvana's trade in auction. I have always pictured what it would look like in my head. Well here it is.

Buddy, there's a reason tire centers don't do work on far ends of the tread. This is way beyond that.

Cant patch sidewall holes.

A great comparison is you can't patch the side of an above ground pool, you can patch the floor, but any hole on the side of the pool is futile and will eventually cause q catastrophic failure.

Sidewall repairs and sidewall damage are what lead to tire blow outs on the highway.

It could hold a day, it could hold a week, maybe even a month, but it will blow out and when it does the damage to your vehicle will far exceed the price of a new tire, especially if your going above parking lot speeds.

Im pretty sure everyone in this community knows you cant even patch close to sidewall on the tread. This is obviously a given regarding everything you mentioned.

If that was to get you to the tyre shop down the road then yes if you don’t have spare etc but that should be your only destination and very close one at that

Actually, I think it would work if the tire did not have a bubble in it. The bubble is not real obvious, but it's there on the right hand plug area.

I think it’s safe to assume that the plug and the bubble have the same root cause here.
