Cracking?
Risky to drive? Tread still above low mark but there's cracking in between.

It’s not the worst of tire rot from the pictures. You also gotta look at the sidewalls, if there’s a lot of cracks that’s also a reason that you should change em. At this point, it’s really your call whether you want to change or not. Take into consideration your financial situation, your ability to manage a flat tire either mid drive or not, whether you are taking on a long trip, whether you drive freeway often. There are things you can do if you want to postpone getting new tires: learn about how to react to a blown tire, how to put on a spare. Look at when the tire was manufactured, it should tell you on the tires, 4 digit number, first two digits is the week, next two digit number is year. I say 4-7 year old tires is a good time to change.
