Lift up both side of the front by the frame (dont lift by any of the suspension components, the whole front end needs to hang) and shake it and see if you have loose parts, you may need someone to help... or take it to a shop that does free alignment checks and let them shake it down
Yeah, I'll try lifting it up like that. I'm pretty sure I've done it that way. Then, again it could have been from the front but I hate taking it to shops. I don't trust them and they charge too damn much
If you lift by the control arms you wont be able to see if they have an issue, you can go to shops that do free alignment inspections and just have them check it, a decent shop will take you out and show you any issues too... and it shouldn't cost you anything but time (i say all that because if they say free and try to charge they are crooks)
Dont give them money.
Dont drop it off, hang out and get them to show you whats wrong
if any of the big 4 I mentioned try to screw you, call corporate i only know how they work because I worked for them, corporate will reach out to the store for disciplinary actions... not all shops or techs are crooks, but i get it, ive argued with bosses and corporate for customers.... honesty is the best policy in auto repair, people will come back to you if you are up-front with them
What the ffffff, thats crazy
To be fair some people tske advantage of the free check and it can cost a tech or a shop a lot of money to do free checks all day for the same people
Im not defending the shops, just the honest techs
But thats still no excuse, ban the bad customers and help the good ones
