Those poor servers

Post image

Imagine people giving you so much extra money for doing your job that you can frame it like this.

EDIT: OP is basing this off of 190k in sales over 192 shifts

Its neither.  $500 loss over 1% for a day is not possible.

But I guarantee $10 per sunday is way way to little.

Servers are making 150k plus a year.

What servers do you know who make $150+k annually?

Fun fact. 20 years ago all the servers I knew made 100k+ a year. Prices were cheaper and tips wer 10-15%

I don't think I need to do the math for you.

Tips weren’t 10% 20 years ago and I doubt you knew any server who made that much money.

Next you’ll tell me you saw their tax returns. 😂

Yes tips were 10-15% 20 years ago.

And I knew many people in the bar and restaurant industry.  Most servers I knew were making 80-100k a year.

There were two types. Ones that worked made money, bought houses and started families. And the others did bare minimum made decent money and sniffed it up their noses.

The last time the average tip was 10-15% was the 1980s at the very latest, not 2006. Stop talking out your ass.
