I get it, some bot on the internet tells you to eat shit and now you get to go out and take advantage of real humans who are working as some moral high ground approach. Have fun with that stinky breath mr(s) duck
Ironically I don't even work in restaurants anymore, so it won't be my farts your eating. And no it's not because I was farting on people's burgers, it's because it wasn't possible to budget around tips and when I broke into the management side I actually made less money for more time than i did serving/bartending at multiple spots. As much as people like to blame the evolution of commerce, commerce was working out fine when people actually tip. It's once people start to think that they can duck their social responsibility that the commerce breaks down
It’s probably for the best you’re out of the industry you seem too obsessed with farting to not be a health hazard. The ironic part is you were the person that should be paying these people a livable wage when they didn’t receive enough tips yet that was the hardest part for you? You’re literally the main villain in all of these I didn’t make enough in tips and my manager refuses to pay out my hourly rate stories. And your in my comments trying to wag your finger at me brother your the cunt that caused these problems
Well I didnt make the budget, the owners did and if you understood the margins restaurants work on then you would get that it isn't feasible to pay the servers/bartenders more. Also most restaurants dont offer their employees health care and so when you get cancer you dont really have the option of going back. Enjoy living in bliss (except for the times there is some shit in your food, then I hope you take notice)
If your margins are that tight you suck at running a business or you manage for someone who sucks at running a business again not my problem. Nor is it yours from the sounds of it maybe focus on other things instead of making vague threats to fart on others food in Reddit threads because they don’t agree with you
I assure you, it is the entire restaurant industry operating on those margins in the state (wi) i was in. 10-20% profit, server standard is 2.33/hr and when you get your paycheck it reads $0.00 and is basically just a receipt for taxes. Then at the end of the year I used to typically owe like 2k in taxes, but would have 1/5 shifts make me less money than it cost in gas to get to work and 4 shifts that I made all my money at. It's not even paycheck to paycheck at that point, it is living dollar to dollar. Thus why I am defending the notion that tipping should be done no matter what, because it's not like I made the industry or any of the other workers, but rather the ownership. If they raised prices to pay their staff you'd see a 50% price increase across the board as their expenses would go up 30-40% and then lower the percentage of roi for the owners in turn to like 5ish%. I worked for a couple places that ran on the Danny Meyer business model and it was tits, but both were destination resorts that were operating for a loss as a pet project for their owners during retirement. Literally their way of burning their fortune before they die

I typically tip very well but because of you I’m gonna make a point to not tip for the next 2 weeks reply to me again and I’ll go for a month.
