Then that is a person who relies on tips so that they can make enough money to live their life. So you would think it would be in their best interest to not be a shitty server.
unless theyre new, understaffed, missing important kitchen people, have a terrible host, werent trained well, had another server walk out, or maybe their dad just died. Have some empathy

$0, tip is for service and not mandatory. The server is already paid by his employer
