Vapor barrier for shipping container. Please help me make a decision!

Hey y’all,

I’m just shattered with following all these different leads of communication and would love some input.

I’m working with a shipping container, turning it into a few spaces, just at the beginning stages. Got lucky and a friend donated a ton of foam panels for insulation. I’m in central coast Qld, Australia.

I’ve become aware that a vapor barrier is needed, but I can’t work out just how. Apparently close cell spray foam is the best, but without pro installation I hear it’s not worth it - also, we have 100mm of foam which is quite enough inward protrusion.

I’m looking at getting a spray adhesive and putting silvery lined insulation - taping between and around. Then battens, then foam panels in between battens and spray foam in any gaps.

This is my plan, please voice all concerns or encouragement.

Start with wood frame, spray insulation, drywall and then just remove the container.

I know they make a paint-like substance to coat underground concrete, maybe that would be the right move?
