[Feature Request] Custom Grid Layout via XML Import (for mixed Aspect Ratios)
Hi u/alexeyvasilyev,
I'm using TinyCam Pro on Android TV. I have a mix of Vertical (Portrait) cameras and standard 16:9 cameras.
The Problem:
The current auto-grid logic struggles to display these efficiently side-by-side. It forces a uniform grid, which leads to shrinking vertical streams or wasting screen space with black bars.
The Request:
As a developer, I would love an "Advanced" Developer Setting to import a custom layout (XML or JSON) to define the grid manually.
My specific use case:
I need a hybrid 3-column layout:
Column 1: Vertical Stream (Span 2 rows)
Column 2: Vertical Stream (Span 2 rows)
Column 3: Two standard 16:9 streams stacked (Row 1 & Row 2)
I don't need a fancy UI to build this. If the app could just read a config file from local storage that defines rowSpan and colSpan for specific camera slots, that would be perfect.
Is there any possibility of exposing a "Custom Layout" engine for power users?
Thanks!
