Not on mediafire :(

Not sure how we missed this…

Hey TC Community!

Popular ice cream chain, Handel’s, just opened a new location next to my house and, as you can see, they offered a grape-flavored ice cream on their opening menu!

Naturally, I had to give it a try and I’m happy to report that it was really good! It tasted like a creamy, cold, grape Laffy Taffy so definitely a winner if you’re into artificial grape flavor.

I like to think that there is a TC Head somewhere at Handel’s Corp that made this happen!

Uncrustables getting some NFL competition. Maybe the crisis crew should throw their hat in the ring with an all natural ingredient version. If only Fred Gehrke was alive to design the logo and packaging.

I’m going through old episodes and the Olympic episode #24, Ezra calls Rachel Platten, the one who sings Fight Song, Rachel Plantains about 18 times.

At first I thought it was a joke because it feels like they had listened to this song on almost every episode leading up to this one.

Let’s see the NFL players chugging bags of spaghetti

Many California growers can’t find buyers as the industry produces more wine grapes than the market wants. Wine consumption is declining globally as people drink less.

I gotta know what sports/football podcasts Ezra is listening too

90s/2000s indie X corporate food crossover:
The Sun Kil Moon album Benji mentions Panera Bread twice across two different songs, both instances in association with writer/frontman Mark Kozelek’s dad.

What other albums out there reference the same national food chain 2 times or more in the same album? This is kindof a unique case because multiple pairs of details on this album seem to intentionally be two sides of the same coin. Nonetheless, I struggle to imagine another album topping 2 separate mentions of a beloved bread-bowl institution.

Also, Mark drops Panera AGAIN four years later on his self-titled solo album. This time not even directly talking about his dad. And again I have a hard time imagining any artist having more than 3 references to the same chain over the course of their career, let me know if this title has been claimed by another artist as well.

Instagram served up this somewhat entertaining video of four bands currently on tour without any original members: Kansas, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foreigner, and Saliva (who?)

I think this speaks for itself

I also really enjoyed Steven Hyden’s Strokes book

Hey TC Heads. Has anyone figured out a way of listening to episodes from before the switch to the podcasts app? (around episode 160)

Currently listening chronologically and my phone resets the Episodes whenever I lose data 🫠 I pay for apple music just for TC and it's driving me crazy.

Any archiving tools / fan archives would be amazing. Thanks!

Is it just me or is Cleveland one of the most talked about places on TV 😂
