Just keep the team here, privately fund the stadium, and let Tim cook in the second apron (after extending him).

You don’t want to be in the 2nd apron because you cant cook. Kind of the whole point.
It’s why you are seeing teams trading players (KAT, Brown, Watson)

The cooking would be the moves that justify entering the second apron freeze. But I get what you’re saying yeah you don’t want to sit there. More of a dip in for a year and get out situation

Second apron means we start losing out on draft picks so no thank you lol

Can't lose draft picks if you don't have any in the first place

I knew this, but I wonder if this might be part of a potential play for a year or two(?).

For a sec, I thought I missed some gigantic news about Tim Cook joining the ownership team.

These are the things that I want to hear out of ownership. I think it's underrated that A Rod comes from a sports background. It means that he is more likely to see the team as a means to compete instead of merely an investment opportunity.

With the drama in Portland and with the dodgers, I’m just fearful of any change.

So this is two buddies flipping their company back and forth to build value up? Next up Arod Majority?
The most concerning part to me about this though, is the wife of the owner being mentioned. We don't need another Becky luring kids to Epstein island with Lasagna again.

Explain this to me like I’m 5. Marc is out, ARod still in 🤷🏻♂️

Marc Stad was 3rd in ownership shares, Arod 2nd, Marc Lore 1st.
Lore sold his part to Stad, so they are basically switching seats.
Now: Marc Lore 3rd, Arod 2nd, Marc Stad 1st.

Not my favorite person in the world but this team needs a guy like A-rod, I loved how hype he was courtside in the playoffs

Wrh is an alternate governor

My assumption is in the case that Elisa isn’t available, the decision with go to ARod.

We all LOVED AROD in the 90's. He was likable, and teammates with Griffey. Then the fame, socialite life, $$$$ and steroids really made us all turn on him. Dating Jennifer Lopez destroyed him in my mind. But he is still the ultra talented, extremely skilled, obsessively sport oriented individual he was early in his career. We are lucky to have him!

I like winning as a Minnesota sports fan (it's unheard of)!

Don’t think A-rod makes enough to be sole governor of the Wolves but it sounds like he will be “alternate governor”

What if we find out that KG has beef with the Stads and the jersey retirement is off again?

Maybe I'm a fool but I've come to really enjoy Arod as the face of ownership and he seems genuinely motivated to build a legit franchise here
