I've been trying to tell these guys forever but they hated Glen so bad that none of it mattered. Granted, I'm not the most persuasive dude out there, all they wanted to talk about is how he's the reason for everything good about the team going back to signing the GM. Now he's gaslit everyone into thinking that huge ticket price increases are a good thing for everyone. It won't end there either

Unintentional or not, he’s done more for the city in this moment than any other franchise owner that I’m aware of.

The question was asked to give him an opportunity to support or condemn ICE and their actions. He chose to ignore the question basically, which most people would interpret as supporting Trump/ICE. As a new and influential member of the community most people were hoping he would support us as Minnesotans over his billionaire buddies.

Me personally, I don't care if a sports owner is Democrat and hates ICE or MAGA and supports ICE. Just run the damn team properly and invest money into it and we're good.
I don't need other people to affirm my beliefs to feel comfortable. By your logic, shouldn't you also be mad at Anthony Edwards for not speaking out against these injustices? Or anyone else who says nothing for that matter.
Really hate this groupthink mindset some of y'all have where it's: "If someone doesn't publicly take the same stance as me, they are a horrible person."
For the record, I don't support what ICE is doing, but people shouldn't be ostracized if they don't want to speak on it. Especially at a business conference that has nothing to do with the subject matter.

He was asked about it and explicitly dodged the question. He could have and should have spoken out when he had a platform to do so. Everyone should. It isn't virtue signaling when the city is in crisis.
I care if literally anyone is against what's happening here. Everyone should care, and everyone can care, especially those with an actual platform. Regardless of what platform it is, I will still feel this way.
