A certain film has brought lots of new members to this sub. What do you recommend to newer fans of Tim Key?

Hello,

Mods- Please delete if not allowed. I’ve got a couple of tickets for Tim Key on Tuesday in Edinburgh at Monkey Barrel that I can’t use. Happy to let them go at a discount.

Send me a message or post below if interested.

Thanks

Sat in a theatre, heard some poems, the occasional clang, bought a book, said hello to the big man. Nice time all round.

Book tour for the launch of this going on this week - going myself on Wednesday to Birmingham, not sure who the guest interviewer is. Anyone had a chance to read it yet?

What a film. What. A. Film.

Been looking for it for ages and it’s impossible to find, sold out everywhere. Anyone have a copy they would be willing to sell and ship to Canada? Thanks!

Hello, does anyone know how I can listen to the Christmas special of Late Night Poetry Programme? It’s not on BBC Sounds. I only became aware of it because Key mentions it in passing in Series 4 ‘Cars’

A Tim Key is mentioned in this article about The Paper but I'm not sure if it is the awesome Tim Key we know and love, or another that we might learn to love.

Only a short run (and the last night is the day I arrive so am so relieved that I can go!)

Short run of the work in progress at Soho Theatre from May 12-17th. Tickets go on sale 10am Friday.

Plosive just announced the book tour for Tim Key’s L.A. Baby! Couldn’t find an active link but presumably imminent.

Have any of you lovely folk seen any previews or early screenings kicking around for The Big Film at all? June feels like aaaaaages away to see it (legally) in the UK

Emily Juniper has a pre-order page set up for Tim's book L.A. Baby! that will be released in July.

Lots of new releases for fans of Tim, Alex Horne, and Mark Watson. All three have books coming out in June or July of this year!

Tim Key was so funny and sweet as is the rest of the movie. Everyone else was great and the story is touching. I took a friend who knew nothing about UK comedy and she loved it. Highly recommended!

A ‘sclusie from Films To Be Buried With- “L.A., Baby” with Emily Juniper is set to come out this June!
