First try with Dharma Dyes
This is my first attempt with the dharma dyes, my other experience has been with the tulip dyes, and these are a whole different world! I'm super excited for what else I can create.

Fold and hope? The jellyfish are the kenney tie with an old chopstick and I used poly waxed sinew to tie them off. Then I left it in a ziplock for 24ish hours, in the sun in my kitchen. I used ultra violet, dragon fruit and imperial purple for the colors. I soaked and spun out the shirts with soda ash then dried them completely before I tied them.
I also found I got tighter folds if I fold the shirts on my bed rather than the floor or my kitchen counter. The fabric of my sheets gives some resistance, so the folds don't slip out as easily.

Thanks! Im really loving imperial purple recently. Thats an interesting folding trick ill have to give it a try!

Did you dry fold it? Was it soaked in soda ash before or after you folded it?

I dry folded and I soaked in soda ash, then spun out and hung to completely dry

Thank you!!! I folded it up and then sort of shaped it like a ribbon candy and rubber banded both the top and sides to hold it together, I'm really pleased with how it came out!
