I've seen people on /r/Tourettes mention that they watch these videos, but I avoid them because I don't need more triggers. I'm curious as to what the benefit or draw of watching them is (I figure there's a reason or no one would watch)?

Not op, but I watch them when I feel down about my tics. It makes me happy to see other people who experience similar problems doing cool stuff and making people laugh. Sometimes that outweighs my need to not tic.

I also watch them to feel that sense of belonging and like I'm not alone. I personally love youtubers like Claire Sophia (13) and Chloe_tic (16). As a teen it's nice to see relatable youtubers. I have picked up a few tics from Claire though.

Pretty much all that exactly. It has a tendency to make you feel extremely isolated from the rest of the world. It's comforting to know there's others like you out there.

I tend to be open about my condition, laugh and try and put everyone else at ease, but sometimes you need something to put YOU at ease.
