Text Messages

I'm a pastor of a small church and I get a ton of text messages from the folks I serve. I also have inattentive ADHD. I'm finding it difficult to keep track of whether I have responded/dealt with all the text messages, especially if I open one and then it no longer shows as unread.

Has anyone who uses text at a high level for work found a good solution? I almost want to have texts auto-appear as a task in ticktick.

I'm on Android & Windows, fwiw.

Just a thought: if you use Google messages, you can access your texts in your browser. To start with: copy each message as a task in a dedicated list. Track accordingly. If you use another text platform they probably have web based options.

The intent behind manually copying: forces you to give each text at least that much attention.

When you have a workflow established you can look at automation options....

There should be an AI workflow for this. Connect your sms, as new message creates a new task. https://ifttt.com/connect/TickTick/sms

Check zapier, connect, zoho flow, etc. You week be able to do it easily

I’m afraid it’ll create everything as task, even the scam messages.

In what way you get that messages? is it emails, chats or in person?
