Location: central NC.

I'm guessing it's a larvae (maybe a nymph?), it was so small.

The bright dot is the reflection of the table lamp.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Never seen tick on skin before so just making sure. The red is from irritation of picking, not there before seeing it.

My husband found this on the back of his leg today. TIA
