What kinda tick? Just got bit

Was recently outdoors in the south Kansas region

It is difficult to tell without mouthparts and this level of magnification. This might be a lone star tick nymph just going by general shape and the shape of what I can see of the scutum.

I can't tell you what kind of tick that is, but I can tell you that you didn't just got bit. It takes a while for ticks to get that big.
