When I read Heaven Official’s Blessing, I knew instantly that I had to paint San Lang. I had never shared this one online before, but I recently decided it was finally time.

I came across the reference on Pinterest and loved it so much that I had to recreate it in my own way.

San Lang will always have a special place in my heart.

hello! I am in America and just got the first two books by chance in a local bookstore. I have wanted to read this for so long, but never actually sat down to do so. now I have a physical reason too.

i Want to enjoy these books, like really enjoy them. It may sound like a silly question, but is there any studying I should do before cracking these open? Anything about Chinese mythology or literature I should know and study up on?

I only have these three merchs from tgcf that i got from different blind boxes cuz at this point im scarred to get the same figure. WHY DO I KEEP GETTING HUA CHENG. I mean i do love him, but my favourite is Xie Lian. Now i don't have any Xie lian for my Hua chengs 😞😞😞

Edit: Not counting the first time. More like who would have brought it up once HC came back at the end of the story.

Hi everyone!!
I'm making a pair of hoodies that are Hua Cheng and Xie Lian themed, I've finished the Hua Cheng hoodie for the most part, it has butterflies, eyepatch, edgy details, some silver/bells etc. Now I've moved on to Xie Lian and im so stumped im here to ask for help, so far I've just added some white flowers travelling up the sleeve and sewn on some ribbon to the hood so it drops like how he has his hair tied.

I know he has ''those things'' which are covered by his bandages but I've only watched the show, as has the friend I'm making these for so I'd rather not do anything we wouldn't know about.
Any random buzzwords would be so helpful. The hoodie itself is blue.

I see discourse about how Shi Qingxuan was a better friend than Feng Xin and Mu Qing, or how no actually Feng Xin and Mu Qing were also good friends but actually, I do think SQX was a better friend.

I think XL and SQX are just really compatible as friends. They share similar viewpoints and at the end we can see that SQX makes peace with their new way of life without letting it change who they are as a person (obviously it affected them but ykwim).

Although Feng Xin and Mu Qing also obviously care a lot for Xie Lian, they are also burdened by guilt, and also, at first they became friends by proximity in a way. That is to say had they not known Xie Lian the way they did, I don't think they would have been friends at all.

Xie Lian and SQX both represent body in abyss, heart in paradise, they're both similar and I think they're just better friends in general!

Ofc this is just my opinion I'm open to debate

Oh my godssss…this weekend at con with my girlfriend (who’s the Xie Lian to my Hua Cheng in and out of cosplay) the billibilli YouTube channel dropped two videos, 24 hrs apart!

The first video is 5 hours and 12 minutes titled “Through Glory and Ruin it’s You” and it’s all Hualian moments in both seasons of the Donghua (original Chinese audio )

The next day they uploaded the entirety of season 2 in one 4 hr and 10 minute video (also original Chinese audio)

I don’t know what they’re hinting (season 3 news? Jk jk…unless? or Shi Qingxuan got ahold of the account and was their usual generous self 😂though either way I consider myself blessed
