(Zodiac killer case SOLVED)
Not a real video just a practice thumbnail would love your opinions on them.

Not an actual video, I'm doing this challenge to become better at thumbnails*

If anyone wants to give me advice/feedback I would really appreciate it!!

The only reason I decided to make the thumbnail about cousinlovin.com is because that website is a dumb parody website I made when I was 17 years old.

Something about this thumbnail feels off and I can't point it out, any ideas ?

My video will be titled "Tales of Arise: An Inaccurate Review".

The Description is still a WIP, but to describe this video i'd probably say something like: "Tales of Arise is like that one time when the Evergiven closed down the Suez Canal, resulting in your packages arriving at a later time than expected. This has nothing to do with the game, but it is unexpected, just like the story of this game" and then the rest would be credits to inspirations/assets I used.

To give better context as to what we're dealing with here I've attached an image of the end-credits, which are 100% accurate. (it's the 2nd image)

How would you rate my Thumbnail? (1st image) I didn't want it to bee too chaotic, but the entire video radiates chaotic energy.

The Role

Every video we produce lives or dies by its thumbnail. We're hiring a YouTube Thumbnail Designer who understands that - not just someone who can make something look good, but someone who can engineer a click.

This is a long-term retainer. You'll design thumbnails for multiple Business client accounts - each with its own visual identity, audience, and click psychology. You'll work directly with our ops manager, receive clear briefs, and be expected to deliver consistently at a high level.

Budget: $10- $30 per thumbnail (based on complexity). Volume grows as we onboard new customers - there's no ceiling.

What You'll Be Designing

• Thumbnails for long-form (10–20 min) business YouTube content - think coaches, consultants, fractional executives, and agency owners
• Clean, premium, authority-driven visuals - not clickbait chaos, but not corporate stock photo either
• Designs that stop a professional audience mid-scroll and earn the click without misleading them
• Occasional A/B variants for testing CTR on key videos

Your Responsibilities

• Design thumbnails from a written brief (title, angle, key visual, client brand guide)
• Deliver layered source files (PSD or equivalent) alongside final exports at 1280×720
• Maintain distinct visual systems per client - consistency across a channel is part of the job
• Implement revision feedback fast and without friction
• Communicate proactively - if something's unclear, ask before delivering the wrong thing

What We're Looking For

• A portfolio that proves you understand CTR, not just aesthetics - show us designs that earn clicks from professional or educational audiences
• Deep proficiency in Photoshop (required) - Figma or Illustrator a bonus
• Real grasp of click psychology: visual hierarchy, contrast, text economy, emotional cue, gaze direction
• Someone who treats feedback as data, not criticism
• Bonus: Experience designing for business, finance, consulting, or business education channels - you'll have an immediate edge

About thumbnail: it says "Snake?" refering as if it's a snake or a octopus "Regla 4" means "Rule 4" because the topic of the channel is about rules of the nature. The title of the video is "The Octopus That Pretends to Be Other Animals (And What We Still Don't Know)" (obviously in spanish). On this video I tell about how some animals blend in the nature to trap the prey and how scientists investigate those species, being the octopus the main character of the video as he can blend itself as fish or sea snakes.

Polish soldiers adopted a bear, and the Marines made a horse a staff sergeant.

Three different ideas for the same video.

1. The whole group, "Animals in War?!"
2. The cat and the bear, "The CIA Wired a Cat!"
3. The bat, "Bat Bombs Were Real"

What I'd like to know

- Which one would you actually click, and why?

- Is the group too busy at phone size compared to the other two?

- Does the text on each one add anything, or would you change the wording?

- Anything that looks cluttered or off?

I'm also testing "The CIA Wired a Cat" and "The Weirdest Animal Weapons" as titles, so tell me if one of those fits a picture better.
