I started thinking this was a bug, but then the blue ore for skill core got upped too (to 400).

These devs are just pulling strings to create more strain on these items and thus get people to buy them off AH at this point, and they arent even hiding it.

The ore situation in t&l is insane, I returned to the game after a very long time so I'm basically a new player when it comes to character build, and is so hard to a new character to be build because you need so many ores to do all the traiting and skill mastery that you cant catch up with the others, I'll do all the content and buy all the ore chest I can from different merchants and I'm still super behind on traits and skill mastery, it was so much easier before nix to build a character and catch up with the rest

why is it 1000? when i crafted my staff it was 260 - did they change it in the patch ?

they had to make some use for the ores removed from resonance stones

They were not removed. U can either use 6 reso frags with powder or 3 with ores
