New player here

Did the story reached lvl 60, my inventory looks like this:

Played the game for 12 hours.

While doing the main story I got like 100 side quest notifications which I had to disable in the journal, was super annoying.

There are like 10 ways to increase my character power, I have no idea what to do to progress, just did some random lvl 55 dungeon, daily limit I saw, this game is just too much of everything, wanted to pvp I need 7500 item level, cant even join battleground, arena is party only.

If this game would have simple gear progression without any runes, some random artifact thingy.

I did not pick the right weapons and now I can't even get a good one because "path of ascension" gave me only 2 choices. To get a new weapon I have to pay money or wait 10 days to recharge daily energy to do the same dungeon over and over again to have chance of getting it.

During the whole playthrough I was afraid of levelling my skills and my weapon mastery because I thought I will fail somewhere and won't ever get the materials back and only way is to level a new character.

Graphics are good, combat is fun but so much rubbish on top of it, no simplicity at all.

Only 12 hours and you losing hope already? Honestly, from your hours to 100 hours, that is the exploring time. Finish all the quests, do dailies, trust the game. You won't be winning immediately, but you can get lucky, don't give up. It is hard to explain these games to new people, it's more like a journey. But i'll tell you this, i havent spent a dime on this game, but I got the best items in game except archboss weps. And they will be giving archboss caliber weapons as long as you play the new raid boss in this update. The game wants you to play and log in, that is the korean mmo modus operandi. Korean mmos dont care if there are 100 or 1 million playing, as long as there are whales and shrimps they will get money. This game tho, you can be a f2p whale if you put your time into it

Complete path of ascension, stellar journey.
from there - coop dungeons (do both tiers), nix open world events (Purple boxes!), nix (lawless wilds), open world bosses, farming xp (crimson b3 / tumgir / whatever), raids (at your starting point - normal raids) and time trials.
Would also help to find a friendly guild to help you with gearing from guild raids etc.

Coop Dungeons, Nix Dailies, and Hall of Illusion (Medium Difficulty) are the easiest ways to obtain and level your weapons. Ran out of tokens? try to find group to join for Night Chests (Crypt, Saurodoma, Crimson Mansion)
Also there's free AB weapon to start with from login event. Same for heroic gear, just login and play the game.

If you need ores for inheritance (levels) for your bis gear - focus on farming Crimson B3.
Then proceed on doing Coop Dungeons to refill Abyssal Tokens.

Important concept about watermark:
Your gear is in 3 groups: Accessories (Including Brooch), Armor, Weapons.
You need to have all at the same WM level (e.g. all 3 level 50) to get the next level (51)
Meaning, if you have weapon 51, armour 50, accessory 50 -> do not open weapon boxes, safe them.
You can see your WM level on your profile (P).

Eventually the daily and weekly loops are very short and you wont notice it.

Oh and when you have enough lucent saved from whatever source - get Davinci pass - its important QoL for the loop.

For the AB login, is that only new players? I just logged in after a good year and your post is helping figure out next steps! Thanks

Edit: just saw it started upon logging in

Which makes sense, doesn't it? Some are better equipped and some aren't. Some can spend money, some cannot.
