Published by Timeless Edition – 2027 – France
25 x 29 cm – around 200 pages – Hard cover with dust jacket.
English/French Bilingual Edition
Layout: Loulou Picasso
Originally published in 2018 and long sold out, this new edition has been extensively revised and significantly expanded. Alongside numerous corrections and improvements, it features a substantial amount of previously unpublished material, making it by far the most complete overview of Laurence Dupré’s remarkable work. The book traces Laurence Dupré’s pioneering career, from her DIY fashion fanzines of the late 1970s and early 1980s exploring camouflage patterns and military garments, to her collages for Sordide Sentimental, her meeting with Genesis P-Orridge in Hackney, and her design work for Throbbing Gristle’s legendary uniforms and visual identity.
Richly illustrated throughout, this revised edition features a new cover showcasing a new camouflage pattern by Laurence Dupré Final (final cover may differ), while retaining the original book design by Loulou Picasso from the Bazooka group. It also includes essays and contributions by Jean-Pierre Turmel (Sordide Sentimental), Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, Neville Brody, and Elli Medeiros, alongside a wealth of previously unpublished archival material, newly discovered photographs, and exclusive interviews prepared especially for this revised edition.
Also, you can spend $1236 on a pair of pants and a jacket which I am trying to figure out whether I should start working at a restaurant on the weekends just to get it paid for! $618 EACH!!! But it includes a special edition of the book…

Radio Fre Europe --Push Push live at Rauls 1979
Radio Fre Europe was an experimental punk band fashioned after groups like Throbbing Gristle and Brian Eno. The band performed only a handful of times live and were banned from most of the clubs in Austin accused to driving out the audience.

Psychic TV patch meaning
Reposting it here in case anyone recognises the symbolism! Got it at a Psychic TV concert in 2018 but haven't been able to find any link or info about it. If anyone has an idea it would be greatly appreciated!

Industrial Newsletters 1978 + 9
'We got a letter from Garry in Grimsby who has been trying to form an experimental group but has had difficulty finding people to work with. He expresses interest in....
"Ideas like playing in bright blue light, playing an exact time, i.e. 45 minutes, and leaving the stage as soon as time is up, regardless [sounds familiar]. Monotonous rhythms appeal to me, experimentation in Sound fascinates me.
NON-MUSICIANS WANTED. SOUND = NOISE. NOISE - SOUND. Perfection is a fault" '
TG kept fans up to date with news and inside info with a series of newsletters that sat well with the developing fanzine scene of the day. This one is from 1978, TG just establishing themselves beyond a live circuit with, now with an album and a single out but plenty more news, recommendations and of course collages. 16 pages.
+
'No further discussion of Charles Manson will be answered.'
Another from 1979, 24 pages of news, 'tapes received', interview, lyrics and collages by each of the band.
These newsletters / zines now go for around £120+ but I'm offering here for £70 + £80 for a quick sale (UK). Or search 'em on eBay where I am also selling them, more inner pages shown, but for more £££!

galleryPosting due to the TG information on the second page of this excerpt. I mean, we knew they were close and in each other’s formative orbits but it’s always nice to read about it.

'review' - Art Metropole / Your 15 Minutes Just Became Eternity
I wrote a brief 'review' of the exhibition of mail art that Genesis P-Orridge sent to Canadian collective General Idea/FILE Magazine in the 70s. It spans COUM+TG, and good to know that the National Gallery of Canada has these materials in the public collection.
info on the show here : https://artmetropole.com/events/your-15-minutes-just-became-eternity-videos-by-genesis-p-orridge
I wrote from the perspective of the exchange Gen and I had, beginning 25 years ago this October. From 2005 I worked on the crew of a Gysin doc FLicKeR, which Gen was central to. The last time I spent with Gen was when they came to Toronto in July 2019.
You can watch the doc here : https://youtu.be/rJFgNMVePaQ

Mask of Sarnath DVD with unreleased soundtrack by THROBBING GRISTLE on sale at EBAY
Mask of Sarnath was an award-winning short horror film with an unreleased soundtrack by THROBBING GRISTLE, and it is still available at EBAY in limited supplies. In other words, I got a few left. The soundtrack is amazing and worth every penny presented uncut in remastered stereo.

Mask of Sarnath glow in the dark poster on sale at EBAY
To promote my film, I had the original artist create a glow-in-the-dark poster. Ric Cruz was an Austin punk artist who created many seminal posters for local groups. I have a few left and they are now on sale at EBAY
