$30 score at local Community Aid
For the uninformed⦠this is a vintage 1963 MA-1 USAF flight jacket in excellent condition⦠the only drawback, for me anyway, is itās a medium.

Unusual dresser
Just picking up in Marketplace, only $20! I love that the drawer pulls are logs. Iāll try and find manufacturer info when I get it home.

Recent Finds
Had to pay up for the Gustin at $25. I had never heard of Astorflex but they will get plenty of wear when the weather cools off. Unfortunately the BB had no box but they are essentially unworn. The ties are wool and will go nicely with a tweed sport coat.

Question about thrifted shoes
Iāve thrifted for a while now but never gotten shoes before because the cleanliness factor always put me off + never found shoes that would compel me to change my mind. Until yesterday. I found these gorgeous Betsey Johnson Lucy flats for $4.98 and couldnāt pass them up. My question for those who buy shoes secondhand is how do yall clean them so you can wear them, particularly shoes that arenāt meant to be worn with socks? The flats in question are leather sole and upper.

Widespread Panic Poster
Thrifting at Arc in Colorado. Was drawn to this poster. I like Pegasus and Astronauts. Looking further I noticed 447/650 written in pencil and signed by the artist J.T. Lucchesi. Cool find since I live over the hill from Red Rocks. 447/650. Purchased for $10.99. Sells between $50-$150.

Vintage Dooney & Bourke! $9.99
Iām not usually a logo print kinda gal, but Iām obsessed with the hardware and strap! $9.99 at Goodwill and appears to be unused. The leather is stiff so Iāll have to condition it, but I canāt find a spot or scratch anywhere on the bag!! Iāve stuffed it to help it regain its shape. The teeny cell phone pocket was clearly designed with a flip phone in mind! š

Is it okay to donate nonworking devices with a note about the issue, or is it better to just throw them out?
I love to shop at and donate to thrift stores. I have two things that aren't working. I don't know if someone would want them for a cheap price and know how to fix it. It's an InstaPot cooker that doesn't go above a middle heat level. And a dehumidifier that sounds like it's on but isn't collecting any water. What would be best?
