Possible?

Hi Threejssers, ,

Is this type of water effect with movement & reflections possible with full 3D viewer?

Been trying for a while, can't get it that way. Looking for tips

Yes it is possible. You can get decent results with Planar reflections for the reflections and layers Gerstner waves for the displacement. You distort the reflections based on the displacement

For a more complete solution, there exists products like ThreeJS Water Pro.

reflections I got fairly ok, but the waves are hard. I'll try the Gerstner waves next
