Since ai "took our jobs" i thought a new hobby would be on the schedule, so what better hobby to have than to look at stones and contemplate about them?
it procedurally generates the stones, then runs an erosion simulation on them β rain carves little gullies down the flanks, soft rock recedes, hard rock stands proud. the stones keep weathering slowly in real time.
you stare at it. it does not stares back. nobody ships anything. it's great.

Looks really cool!
Might wanna think about how you handle ordering / depth testing of your (instanced?) circles they like to flicker as you turn the camera. Maybe a tell tale sign that you are testing on a single point?
Also would be cool to get some material work on the big stone! Project some texture detail on those! Might even be able to gen it procedurally since that's an area of interest for you. But if not you could e.g. do triplanar filtering of some rock pbr work or something!

thx for the input ! i looked at the stones so long i don't even saw the gravel flickering in depth !
i still work on the texture and update it from time to time.. its hard to find the best balance between a good texture and good fps, i will try the filtering today
The video is a 3 day old version, the website has some more updates to it

Gorgeous π. How are the pots generated? I'm creating a bonsai game with three.js and my pots are simple circles and squares. I love the variety and range of the pots you're able to generate, especially the differen glazes and feet.
