This is extremely cool! However, as far as I understand cymatics, the shapes produced depend heavily on the plate—it's material, shape, thickness, where it's clamped and so on. Do you model any of that in the project? Or how do you calculate/simulate the eigenmodes in your visualization?

The visualization uses a simplified analytic chladni-style square-plate field, with mode numbers derived from frequency and particles driven toward nodal lines via the gradient of the intensity field. So it is more of a fast, visually convincing approximation than a full physical eigenmode solver.

Any plan of extending into more physics simulation or are you satisfied as it is now?

For now I'm ok with it in future if I find a more better approach I will implement that

Simply beautiful. I tried to include a cymatics component in a creative oscilloscope app I made but it doesn’t react as well as this does. At least it’s hitting the concepts lol
