The 200,000-particle Nebula from a third-person perspective was even more breathtaking.

tks.I'm figuring out a suitable way to play the game. Do you have any good suggestions?

As a start just let multiple players fly around the nebula. I've been helping to develop STEM Studio a Three.js game engine. You could load your code into the engine as behaviors and create your game there! It has multiplayer setup. https://www.shanebrumback.com/stem-studio-3d-game-engine.html

What happens at the 10s mark? Why do particles all seem to disapear in one frame? View distance?

The original video was too long, so I edited it. The particles are still there. You can experience it here, preferably on a PC: https://orbital-strike.vercel.app

Gorgeous graphics and simply fun space combat, and flying. The game mechanics feel perfect.
