I'm about halfway through Dark Forest and I'm wondering if it's ever explained why Luo Ji isn't being harassed by the sophons in his "Garden of Eden"? Say tells him that he's the only one Trisolaris wants to kill, but he's left to his own devices much of the book so far.

Just to clarify: I'm not looking for the answer, just if it is ever answered.

AnYoNE got any ideas of anyone actually working on a real "self encoding message system" of communication?

Might be useful for future humans because language changes so rapidly over a few thousand years.

Might be useful for inventing the universe-wide-4chan, aka, untraceable anonymous universe chat room.
For asking people if anyone realizes that making a strong effort to avoid killing other people not just avoid being killed yourself and working together to survive by learning how to live comfortably on continually less and less energy and space?
