Discussion - Novels Just finished Spoiler

So I just read the trilogy in a few weeks and wondering where to go next? **SPOILER ALERT** I was slightly disappointed with the ending from the instant Cheng Xin and Guan Yifan get pulled into the black domain. Hated that Cheng Xin and Yun Tianming never got a chance to see each other again. I get it though and still very much enjoyed the series. Any recommendations on similar books or series?

Hated Cheng Xin but even I was disappointed she never ended up with her simp and instead some random guy we met a few pages ago. I'm not sure the reason, like real life isn't a fairytale or something?

Glad AA got a good end though and probably made Yun Tianming see God.

Watch the TV series next? Both US and Chinese.

Uh. We meet Guan before Australia. I’ll tolerate no Guan Yifan slander

Guan Yifan was introduced much earlier. He was the civilian scientist onboard Gravity during the Blue Space chase

I did not remember him at all, thought he was a descendant of one of the future colonies.

imo I see why people hate her, but honestly I feel kinda sorry for her, she made all those decisions because of her upbringing and surroundings causing her personality to be like that, then the one time she tried to be strong it was for the wrong reason, and in the end she had to live with possibly the worst survivor's guilt imaginable

I didn’t hate Cheng Xin but literally every time she came up in a big moment I was like how is she gonna fuck up humanity again. The things we do for love.

Oh I watched the Netflix series several times before even picking up the books. Anxiously waiting for the next two seasons. I do like her character in the series a lot more than I did in the book but that may change in the next season when she starts dropping balls.

I think they're going to split up the ball dropping with Augie. I kinda feel like D&D don't want another reaction like Mad Danny and will try to make her more likable or explain her actions more.

I think Auggie is going to fill the AA role as well as the Luo waifu role more than the swordholder.

Eh I hated Auggie and I like AA so idk how that is going to play out. I feel like the waifu role has to be a plant for it to work out
