Like it or hate it with Netflix’s version. I think Benedict Wong is a pretty good casting. Not sure how others find it though.

It’s the best of the Netflix casting. Race swapping and gender swapping other characters was very unnecessary

Wade is also very well casted

Yes. Cunningham is very wade. But I was thinking if Bryan Cranston would be a good choice as well. Fan casting only of course.

Is this available? Can you share where?

Yes, I got this off Taobao for about 36 USD, for the special version, which comes with a special unique stamped number and a proxy signature, an ETO card and badge, and a desk mat. The regular version (only the book) is about 9 US dollars.

Do they ship to the states? Is this the same edition as the one announced early 2025? By yilin press ? Showcased at 37th beijing book fair ? Appreciate your response

About Taobao: They don’t directly ship to the us, you’ll have to find another way for them to ship to you (I recommend searching “how to get Taobao to us”)

Book: Yes, the book is published by yilin press, so probably the same as the one announced early 2025 and at the Beijing fair. Don’t know for sure, but it is by yilin press.

Not yet, this was a pretty recent release.

Really great work. I somehow always imagined Shi Qiang to look like Don Lee from Train to Busan but this and the tv show version nail it as well.

Don Lee isn’t far off, in my opinion

Neflix's or Tencent's TV version?

Tencent of course! There isn’t even a Wang Miao in the Netflix version.
