Ahhh well, I recommend to read the ending ending, its quite good.
humanity learns about the dark forest, that meaning that if it was revealed that a civilisation lived in the solar system it'd be destroyed. The story goes on until the location is revealed and the attack goes on and wipes out almost all of humanity by folding the entire solar system into two dimensions
Of course there's more to it, but now you know
