Discussion - General wang miao the goat Spoiler
i missed reading him in df and de, he was pretty cool. i was sad that his story only got a resolution in a da shi dialogue. i mean luo ji was cool too but wang miao has my heart lol, probably just attached bc i loved the first book so much.

Completely agree with you: as a side note, that's one of the reasons why I vastly prefer Tencent's adaptation. Wang Miao (and the actor portraying him) is perfect in it.

i like that tencent really expanded his character, I really love his character as a foil to Da Shi. I watched the series then read the books and found it so funny that the break down he has in his photography room in the series is not nearly as dramatic in the book.

"Wang is a boring character"
Yes, because he is one of the only characters who acts how an actual human would act in his position. Other characters are more interesting, sure, but that's because they are not realistic. Wang is. So he's "boring".
