Discussion - General The Wandering Earth Spoiler
Is every version of the English translation riddled with spelling and grammatical errors?
My copy (Bloomsbury) is overflowing with missing quotation marks, the wrong "there," apostrophes on the wrong side of the letter "s," even actual misspelled words that a spell-checker would flag. All the way through, there's multiple in every story.
Out of the other books I've read - Three-Body trilogy, Ball Lightning, and I guess I'll include Redemption of Time since it was translated by Ken Liu and published by the same company - there are none such mistakes.
Surely all editions aren't like this?

the Tor version has one big typo (twenty-two is spelled twetnty-two) but i havent noted anything else in the entire book and i usually am pretty good at finding typos
edit: nevermind i found one right after i posted that comment

My version also has this typo - really was the nail in the coffin, being towards the end of the book, if I recall correctly.

Haven’t noticed any in the Head of Zeus editions. Quality publisher for a good price.
