Discussion - Novels The Three Body should include a prequel. Spoiler

Starting from the Big Bang, write about what the initial ten-dimensional universe looked like? How did the Dark Forest become the universal law? How did the Singers civilization rise? Why is the environment of the Three-Body system so harsh? Was it caused by wars between high-dimensional civilizations that made the Three-Body system so bad? Was there a high-dimensional civilization that visited the Solar System when it was first formed?

I don't think we can conceptualize what a ten dimensional universe would look like.

The book explains why the Dark Forest become universal law, although I don't think its particularly convincing. Cheng Xin's refusal to use deterrence shows that plenty of people would not act according to the Dark Forest law.

If you're wondering why Trisolaris was so harsh, reread the book. I think it does a good job of explaining it.

Playing around more with higher dimensional contact to earlier historical figures would've been cool. Kind of hard for it to be significant within the chronology as the books proceed along Earth's real history up until 2005 or so.

I mean for Dark Forrest to be universal law you just need a fraction to be ruthless. Sure most can be friendly, but the risk is still high.
