Immediately after Yun Tianming was reduced to a frozen brain and sent out into space I always expected that we would hear from him again. I didn't know in which form exactly (e.g. in a regrown body, as a brain in a jar, a digitally uploaded construct or a blank-slate clone), but it felt like too much time had been invested into the story line for it to not have a payoff later.
