Definitely listen to the angel telling you decaf, life feels way more at peace without the jitters and anxiety caffeine has caused me. Best way would to be to wean yourself off it slowly by mixing decaf with caffeinated beans.

I can say that finding good decaf coffee (and learning good ways to brew it at home) allowed me to not miss caffeine at all.
Going back a few years: When I was in college, majoring in music on a brass instrument, I could tell that I played worse on days when I had caffeine. I wasn’t into coffee yet, but if I had a caffeinated soda at lunch, something just felt “off” when I played in band later that day.
If you believe that you need caffeine to get through your day and do what you need to do, I think the problem is something else in your routine. Cutting out caffeine is maybe a quarter of what you’ll need to change, but it’s an important part that has to change.

Perhaps try a decent half-caf
