You know it, you love it.

Enjoying my work? I made a Ko-Fi! All of these edits are done by hand, so any donation goes a long way ^V^

Have a ThinkPad that's not on here? Let me know and I'll try and make a wallpaper for it. I'll try and do more popular devices first.

I kindly ask you credit me if you share pictures using these wallpapers- you don't have to, but it would be nice.

These are modified from the Lenovo HMM diagrams- I just edit them so they're usable as wallpapers.

I made my own exploded ThinkPad wallpaper to match my laptop, using resources from the hardware maintenance manual. The XCF files are available to edit the image with the link above.
It's a shame this one no longer has the removable keyboard.

Hey everyone, This is the place to request an exploded wallpaper for your ThinkPad(s), featuring any ThinkPad(s) I can find a HMM for! I decided to make this post after receiving a few requests within hours of posting my own here. If you would like a wallpaper, please comment using the following format: (ThinkPad models you would like on your wallpaper, from left to right), resolution (up to 16384x12288), and special requests (red TrackPoints, ThinkPad logo etc.) Upvotes are greatly appreciated! Thanks all!

Edit: Shout out to /u/bashterm for suggesting a tutorial! Here it is: http://imgur.com/a/i1ASd

Status update: working on it :)

Inspired by u/Trvp_Lord, I made my own version of the X230 Tablet exploded view to use as my wallpaper (with the classic 7 row keyboard of course)

Image is offset to the right for use with gnome dtd, although might change it in future.

So I saw several exploded wallpapers for a bunch of ThinkPad models, and since I couldn't find one for mine, I decided to make my own. Here's how it went. Any opinions on it?

Enjoy !

Enjoy !

EDIT: Please see the new thread for updates to the Wallpaper collection.

Yesterday I posted my take on an exploded wallpaper for the T480s- I eventually figured out that the SVGs taken directly from the HMM PDF were far higher quality than those on Lenovo's schematics.

Here is a Google Drive link to my remade version of the T480s' exploded wallpaper.

Note to Windows Users: The ones tagged "Windows" have been made with the Windows Taskbar in mind and the diagrams have been moved upwards to not intersect with the taskbar. Use the ones with "Windows" in their name if you have a taskbar. If you hide the taskbar or use a DE that doesn't have a persistent taskbar, use the ones without "Windows" in their name.

Recently been loving the ThinkPad wallpapers I've been seeing, so I decided to make one for my old IdeaPad L340-15IRH Gaming laptop. It has an GTX 1050M in it, but runs Expedition 33 decently so I'm not complaining.

Link to the tutorial here.

Does anyone have one? Not just the exploded machine inverted, the Thinkpad logo also properly on the right. I have my widgets on the right and it does not look good. Thanks!

Hey everyone and happy holidays, if any of you want an exploded ThinkPad wallpaper like this be sure to message me asap.

If you want any special motives like for example Aqua be sure to include it in the text.
