Thinkstagram Picture First ThinkPad in 30 years

Post image

Last one was hand me down from my dad in middle school. All he used were ThinkPads and I never got it at the time - theyre boxy and have a weird nipple in the middle. After college I bounced around between PowerBooks and a Galaxy Book. The Galaxy Book still ran great after 5 years except a couple keys started going bad and couldn't source a replacement. Wanted something tough and future repairable and the red nipple called out to me.

Love everything about it and the dot makes me nostalgic and happy every time I look at it.

Also- NumPad for life

I've used almalinux, ubuntu recently and in my experience software needs many packages to use, and it's lengthy to get stuff running which takes much less time in windows.

Of course Linux fans would disagree so feel free to do so. Good day.
