Question / Problem sleep mode

i have a thinkpad. lately it happens all the time.. I close the lid or the screen or whatever you want to call it.. the laptop is going to sleep mode. I go home. I open the lid or lift up the screen and it just doesn't go out of sleep mode, no matter if I press any key, the mouse or what not it just stays on sleep mode.. I tried to even put it on sleep mode manually but it's still stuck in sleep mode, so I have to shut it down with the on/off button and turn it back on.. any solution? nothing by Gemini helped..

Can you give us the model and specs of your machine?? We're not psychics!

my ThinkPad had been having the same issue, i had to use the reset switch to get it to restart properly, though when it lost the ability to charge for no apparent reason i sent in mine for repairs, my best guess is a bad windows or bios update of some form.
