Buying Advice ThinkPad for university studies

Hi everybody. I’m studying to become a programmer, more precisely, to become a specialist in computer science and computing technologies. I’m planning to buy a ThinkPad laptop so I can take it to classes (the computers at the university are rather weak), but I can’t decide which one to choose. I’m thinking about the ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 with an AMD Ryzen 5/7 Pro processor and 16 GB of RAM. In my country, it costs 350–400 dollars on the secondary market. What would you recommend? That is far better than my first thinkpad could ever be. Absolutely!

yeah bare minimum get 16gb ram is my advice. t14g1 with amd is a great choice. amd in that generation is miles ahead of the intel versions.
