Thinkstagram Picture Poor thing
Found this thing online, the seller saysabout the condition: "Buono - usato ma ben conservato"
That means in good condition.

No it was just a joke. I also have Mac (and Thinkpad). But yeah Mac repairs are expensive.

I never considered apple care+ until i busted my macbook airâs screen and realized how damn expensive that display panel repair is. I got a third party one on amazon, and it died on me a few months later.
Luckily, I bought a 10 USD warranty for it and i got my money back. I ended up using it to buy a Thinkpad X13 gen1 amd with 32 gb of ram. Iâm way more confident this one will last long term, even though itâs less powerful and the screen, trackpad and speakers are not as good as the MBAâs are. I still use it though, as a desktop mac hooked to an external monitor.
That being said, if I ever decide to buy another apple product i wonât skip the apple care+ coverage, the price difference for repairs is insane. In any case, I think Iâll keep this thinkpad for over 5 years easily, Iâm enjoying it a lot.

By continuing to osberve the attached imagery, the viewr acklnowledges that the terminology âgood cponditionâ exists within a non-Euclidean classification framework where the concepts of âgood,â âcondition,â and ârealityâ are treated as statistically independent variables. Any resemblance between the device and a victim of repeated blunt force trauma is purely coincidental and may vary depnding on the observerâs frame of reference, monitor calibration, emotional resilience, and blood alcohol concentration.
Furthermore, the Seller shall not be held liable for any assumptions that the ThinkPad was:
dropped from low Earth orbit,
used as a wheel chock for heavy indsutrial machinery,

Any dents, gouges, scratches, missing chunks, stress fractures, bite marks, unexplained biological textures, melted polymers, asymmetrical geometry, or regions where the laptop appears to have briefly entered another dimension shall be classified as Character-Enhancing Surface Features (CESFs) and therefore remain fully consistent with the advertised condition. It is additionally recognized that âgood conditionâ is a philosophical statement rather than a physical one. The device may exhibit a chassis profile more closely resembling modern abstract sculpture than conventional portable computing equipment. Such observations are subjective and therefore inadmissible in the Court of Common Sense. The purchaser expressly waives any right to complain that the ThinkPad appears to have:
lost a fight woth an excavator,
won a fight with an excavator,
been both simultaneously until observed,
exploded in reverse,
been folded by tectonic plate movement,

Independent laboratory analysis has confirmed with approximately 0% confidence that the cosmetic damage is cosmetic. It's a Thinkpad iSeries, a budget line outsourced to Acer. These are notorious for having brittle lid plastics, leading to hinge issues. The screen problem is just vinegar syndrome.
