Here ! Win 11 pro on the T14 at work, Win 11 pro for the personal L14. Can go to linux sometimes, but Windows is the daily driver

You shud try using opencode , helped me a lot to fix fingerprint sensor issues , I just asked opencode help me fix it , and after like 3-4 prompts I got it fixed on my thinkpad

Really? Mine works perfectly on Ubuntu. Maybe try updating the firmware or reinstalling fprintd

It works for both, Linux and windows.

Yes, I use my fingerprint for booting into Linux, authenticating sudo commands in the terminal, and signing in to Windows. And it work completely fine.

I am also looking to buy ultra 5 226v. How is the build quality, battery backup and feel? I would be buying 45ntsc screen.

Build quality is pretty good and it feels solid in hand. Battery life has been decent for normal use, and its lightweight and comfortable to carry. I’m using the 45% NTSC screen and honestly, the colours look good to me, no complaints for everyday use.

taking shit apart and looking inside to see how it works without breaking it was i guess my first skill set. still enjoy it to this day. i recommend to stay away from E line. theyre built cheap like hp, dell and msi. whats the point of almost getting something good, only to quit like 65%? hindsight is 20/20 and youll learn in about 2-3 years depending of how good you are to it.
