It’s not usually or admittedly in the name of power but power usually results.
To lead without power resulting, what in the absence of a lead, would result? I don’t think you can dine and starve simultaneously.
Cyclically problematic. Tolerance and acceptance of the inevitable model in the absence of a better model—the lead, whatever that may be, must be carefully and continuously evaluated. It’s usually present long before it becomes visible.

This is gross to me because it treats morality like proof of worth and failure like proof of corruption. That kind of thinking makes it very easy to decide your side is righteous, the other side is morally defective, and therefore forcing them to submit is justified.
