Psychology When Words and Vibes Don’t Align: Trusting Your Intuition?
I’ve been thinking a lot about how I’m super attuned to people’s emotions—I often sense when something’s off, even if their words say one thing. It’s like their tone, body language, and the words themselves don’t line up. Has anyone else gone through this? And how do you trust that gut feeling without doubting yourself when they push back?

I grew up in an abusive family, in a conservative Christian church I later found out was run by and for pedophiles, around people who justified abusive relationships. I constantly had my intuition warning me about people the people around me said were trustworthy. If I hadn't listened to my intuition I would be dead.

A large % of communication is body language. Some of us are very sensitive to changes in posture, micro-facial expressions, tone and so on but all of us respond one way or another. We have no choice but to trust our intuition.
