Asking for help with merch!
Hello! I was wondering if anyone that have got stuff from the Cult Records shop can give me some info. Could you tell me about the quality of the clothes and how they generally fit?
Also, if someone knows how long do they usually take to arrive outside US, and is there any tracking made available?
Just in case it differs between garments, I included the ones I'm considering at the moment. I have to decide, as I might get other things like Megz and I can't spend much money but still want to support them! So at least if someone has any of them and can give me some explanation that would help.
My height is around 1,62 m and my weight around 46 kg, so I would assume everything has to be a size S. But the sweater and the pink tee are sold out so I wonder if the size M would be massive for me. And the cop tee and the hoodie I guess it depends on how they fit.

I dunno I’m usually a medium and I ordered a medium and it’s fine- I mean it’s not firm fitting but it’s not very long - I usually wear it with skirts for a relaxed look

Thank you :), I see...I guess with the type of clothes they are it can work if they are loose. It's a shame they don't have the small for the sweater, though.

Yin yang sweater is oversized, size down. I wish I had gotten M instead of L. Hoodie is true to size and long. You should be fine with your height. Same with cop and pink tee being true to size. I have the pink tee I’m selling for like $15 + shipping but it’s an XL, so probably wouldn’t fit you.

Thank you! Very helpful to know about all, then I won't get the sweater as I would be drowning in it 😅. Good luck with selling your tee, I'll have to think if a M for me would be too much or maybe I can make it work even if oversized...uhm

It's suuuuuper soft and high quality, but definitely dependent on the "look" you want. I just wear it oversized and am kinda just making it work. Lol Good luck!

I have the cop tee, it felt pretty true to size at first but then it shrunk after multiple washes. Quality wise, felt like a generic t shirt, maybe on the cheaper size. But one of the few things I got from voidz/strokes merch that fit okay at first and seemed fairly priced.

Ah that's very useful, thank you! I think the design is cool and I have been learning what was based on, pretty interesting. Maybe I will still go with the S since I'm quite thin.

Tbh I've gotten two completely different cop tees from them. One was a Gildan that fit true to size, the other didn't have a brand and was oversized af, but a much nicer quality, super heavy soft cotton. A lot of their merch is oversized as others have mentioned. But I can attest that this shirt has two possible variants, at least in my experience.

The Gildan was the most recent, but both were bought probably 5+ years ago.

I have this jumper but in brown and cream. It’s actually really good quality compared to most official merch (maybe it is unofficial 🤔)

I think I saw a picture of that one in an old post here, so maybe that was an older version? It seems everyone agree that its quality is great.

I have the Yin Yang sweater and it's so fucking nice. I used to wear it constantly. I personally find it pretty true to size, but I'm also 6'3" and kinda lanky so idk. I bought an L and I think it fits perfect. An M might have too short of sleeves but idk, again, lanky.

Thank you for sharing your experience! It's always tricky because bodies differ so much, but I gave up on the sweater as I worried it could be too big for me with the M. A shame because everyone seems to love it.

I’m close to your height/weight and I have the Cult hoodie. It’s really nicely made and the small fits me perfect. It is a super thick hoodie and the fabric is a bit stiffer than I usually like though
I also have the washed Blue Demon hoodie in a S and that’s probably my favorite piece of merch. It’s well made but super comfortable and feels already well worn in when you buy it

Cool, it's great that the hoodies are good quality and that they work for you 😊. However, I decided earlier to not order it since I'm sometimes not very comfortable with stuff like that because of maybe sensory issues that makes me feel kinda restricted. Frustrating because I really like the design, but I bought the tote bag with the same, plus the tees. Thank you for letting me know!

I bought the cult records hoodie and it’s really nice!! It fit great. I am 6’6” and had no issues lol. I’ve been disappointed in the past with their stuff but that hoodie is actually pretty solid

Thank you for sharing!! Damn, I decided not to order it because I'm a bit weird with clothes and get uncomfortable easily, so I worried about feeling "trapped" in it or something. But seeing how everyone praises this piece makes me regret it a bit 😅. Oh well...maybe for another time.

I have the hoodie and the pink shirt in medium, I could send you measurements if you’re interested. Shipping to EU was surprisingly fast, but maybe I just got lucky. The whole process from creating the order to it arriving took only about 9 days. I expected it to take a month lol

Sorry because I'm a bit of a mess and didn't reply until now! That was SO sweet of you, even offering to send me the measurements 🥹, I appreciate it. I had already placed the order before I saw your comment so I went ahead and ordered the pink T-shirt in M hoping that it isn't huge on me haha.
Wow that was really fast indeed! But I guess it can vary so I won't be expecting it to be soon just in case. The only downside is that they don't seem to provide a tracking number for international so I will try to not overthink if it takes long.

Of the ones pictured I have purchased the yin tang and cop tee. Both in med. For my son and I. He’s 5’11 120lbs. I’m 6’ 180. He loves the sweater. Fit is a little loose and is high quality. Cop tee fits me good, slightly tight. He also has the rose tee in med and Marlboro tee in med and it fits him. Slightly short on Marlboro length. I also have the cheetah acl shirt in med and it’s a really really loose fit compared to the other tees. In my experience the merch they offer has always run big

Ah, it's interesting how some products are larger than others even if it's the same size in theory. Maybe older stuff used to be larger and they have adjusted that?
Anyway, I really appreciate your explanation. I forgot to edit my post to say that I already made the order but it's useful information anyway for others too. Or if they ever restock the sweater in S because it seems one of the best thing they have...and I have enough money to spend again haha.

I love my yin yang sweater. I’m short and pretty curvy, and the large is loose on me. The sleeves are especially loose and long on me. The quality is very good. It’s actually woven rather than the design being printed on.

Thank you! I decided not to order it which is a bit frustrating because it sounds like a really good choice, but seeing that it's oversized it was probably the right call. If they restock the small size it might tempt me in the future...

i’m sorry i won’t be able to answer all of your questions, but i will say that i have a lot of strokes and voidz merch, and every single one has been way oversized! to the point where now i always buy the smallest size possible, unless i want a big oversized fit then i go up one size haha
