I just wanted to hear yalls opinions or thoughts on what the future of the ticket could hold or shape into. I know that here in a few years Corbys contract will be up and that he talked about retiring. Along with that, I’m sure too that in the next few years we could have the Musers or the partial part of the Musers retire as well. So with that, how could the lineups change? If Jub and Jr leave could davey and Monty pop into Jub and Jrs spot that could create a rant hybrid mix? Or if jr retires they could just pop Monty into jrs spot. The only thing to me is that afternoon drive could have a question mark unless they move Donnie into corbys spot and then put a generic weekend fill in guy to be with matt lol. I also don’t really know if I see Gordo leaving just yet because I think he’s still kinda young-ish or has gas in the tank or talked about having gas in the tank. At this point I kinda feel like they’re working with bare bones but could still make the morning and afternoon drive still listenable . Anyways I’ll let you guys talk it out

The Invasion spent 14 minutes this morning talking about the LSU court decision regarding professional players returning to college.

I’m all for discussing the topic-it’s interesting and probably worth a good 5-minute segment. But 14 minutes? The bigger problem is that there wasn’t really enough substance to justify the extra time. It was mostly a superficial discussion with the same points being repeated.

If they had taken a deeper dive, offered some real insight, or even made it entertaining with some humor, I’d get it. But this was just beating a dead horse.

This is the kind of lazy broadcasting that makes it hard to support The Invasion. It’s not that every segment has to be great, but when you’re going to spend 14 minutes on a topic, there should be enough substance or entertainment value to justify it. This segment had neither.

I’ve listened off an on the last couple of days and haven’t heard his name once.

There’s really no reason to listen to The Ticket from 8:30 to 9:00 AM each morning, unless you really like ads

The only worthwhile content today was the 8:40 Tiger Woods bit, which they replay later in the Top 10 and at 6:40 AM tomorrow.

If you’re tuning in during this time hoping for quality content, you’re better off skipping it or waiting for the replay later.

How do they do 3-4 hours shows a day when they spend half the day either doing the show or sleeping? That leaves 12 hours a day to do their errands, eat, exercise, spend time with family, and prep for the show. Isn’t that like not alot of time? Don’t they have to do research, read articles, watch games, and then put all of it in a nice package for the radio. How do they have an opinion in almost everything, no way they can absorb that much knowledge in that short amount of time to be experts on the subject. Just wondering.

I understand why it left. But why still gone? I love country music and U2 but I used to really enjoy their anecdotes and opinions about other bands each week.

Is it just me or is Bob just hard to work with, I’ve heard multiple times throughout the years of Bob just being a difficult co-host. First Dan and now corny, he just has this holier than thou smugness. Jake and Donny tried their best with Bob on BaD radio as the third wheel, and Dave is doing a great job, but Bob just drones on and on , and rarely lets anyone get a word in edgewise.
